I’m an experienced hypnotherapist, and I have created My Safe Soul Space so that more people can access self empowerment and improve their mental health through the joy of using collage. This is my first blog post, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way to My Safe Soul Space.
At My Safe Soul Space, I believe that all emotions—yes, even stress and anxiety— are good. They aren’t here to hurt us; they’re here to guide us. Emotions act like inner allies, helping us navigate life, understand ourselves, and make meaningful changes. Without them, growth simply wouldn’t happen.
One of the most powerful ways I’ve found to explore and soothe emotions is through SoulCollage®. Creating a SoulCollage® card taps into our natural creativity. We are all creative! Even those of us who can’t paint, knit, crochet or craft. Collaging allows us to express, see, and even befriend the feelings we often try to push away. Can you remember the joy of crafting time in primary school? When all you needed was a sandpit or some plasticine. Collaging connects us directly with our inner child and all of its wide eyed bushy tailed’ness.
The beauty of SoulCollage is that anyone can do it. No art skills needed—just a willingness to be curious and kind with yourself. And instead of being overwhelmed by emotions like anxiety, you begin to connect with them in a calm and insightful way.
